Gold Oyster Mushroom Spawn (Pleurotus citrinopileatus)

Gold Oysters are a delicate mushroom and are bright sunny yellow in colour! A feast for the eyes, these mushrooms are also a feast for the tastebuds – when cooked they have a delicious nutty (almost cashew-like) taste.

This species grows in tight bunches of small caps. Very fragile so take care when handling. They perform well in buckets and reusable containers and grow on a wide-variety of substrates. A good beginner mushroom for the home-grower, they will grow in a wide temperature range.

To achieve bright yellow colouration grow under LED lights.
